As far as I know FX was one of the major sponsors as part of their sponsorship they made a decision to put on a big show as part of their marketing strategy. I see similar things happening at other competitions with other companies also. I think vendors who organize competitions do it to keep their costs down as it’s an expensive operation running the shows they put on. When you go to these big competitions the vendors are sometimes setup like your at a trade show showing off the latest they have to offer. I wasn’t able to get to Utah this year but from what I read and heard it was a great time for all. We are lucky to be involved in a sport where vendors and manufacturers are participants.
