Theoben Rapid stocks

I know this is a long shot but still wanted to ask.

Does anyone know of any stocks that are available for the Rapids? I have a .25 Rapid MK2 with a nice stock, and I really don't want to mess the stock up while walking through the woods. I have always loved the looks of the Chip Smith/ 220 Rapid stocks but I know these are like finding unicorn farts. So curious if there were any other options

Thanks in advance

Give David Slade of Airgunwerks a call...he had all kinds of stocks, won't hurt to ask, I just got a walnut stock for a Theoben Crusader from him. I had Martin make a stock for a Rapid 12 a few years ago.

Hey. You might be in luck. I might be the "unicorn" your looking for. I have a Theoben MKII rapid originally purchased used... modfied by AZ...in prestine cond. Has shrouded barrel and was tweaked (all receipts available) by AZs magic touch. I immediately started searching and modifying the PCP to mimic the infamous Swift/Chip smith tactical configuration. Bought the CS stock (took a long time and premium price), finding that rare stock (as you know)....not cheap getting the rifle to that tactical level. . See https://airgunwarriors.com/communit...ith-the-original-thumbhole-stock-need-advice/. Moved from NC to Pa and popping squirrels with my tactical monster on the back deck from my townhouse like I did in NC home would freak out neighbors I'm sure (swat team might show up after second squirrel). Been in sealed pelican case for 4 years. Still pristine as is the original. Lots of extras available with the rifle. Added bonus to consider here is a Theoben RX1 w/ Bushnell scope... trophy maybe(?) (in poor condition and needs work) that could through in if we work out good price here. Any interest?

Did you have any pictures of that Mike?
I included some in the link... but can provide as many as you like. This rifle is awesome... had a few others a shoot it at a touement (only went once) and they were impressed. I'll warn you.. it's heavy.... but built like a tank. I like shooting with a monopod (for small game) or tripod for backyrad "sport". Prone is awesome and fun getting experience at plinking out to 100+ yards.

Here a little taste of Chip Smiths talents......
This the California Special of the Chip-Tact Stock....
I had machine this up when he did on of his runs on his stocks....

Here is another example and method for making a tactical stock for the Rapid...
This is done by Ernie aka 220Swift...from Grass Valley

220Swift was a manual machinist.... no CNC like Chip..
So his design is made from machined Aluminum plate and channel...

Ok I remember seeing that post and trying to reach out but was unable to.

Stock looks great, and would be far better than the plain jane stock I have on it now.
