It's a .22 not that this matters...
I'm trying to figure out the outer barrel o-ring size. I'm pretty sure it isn't metric as nothing else seems to be but I can't find the actual size as these are shredded.
Anyone know the correct o-ring size (2 required for outer barrel to trxfr port seal) Not the probe o-ring.
I've looked online to no avail and won't bother Alan with this as he's usually covered in work.

That was not Factory Installed......
I have done that mod to my high powered Titanium Rapid.....
You need to measure the groove to figure out what O-ring you need.

Alan Z did it and I figured he had done it to others in here as well.. What I have left of one of them doesn't seem to match anything I can find online. I'll try to measure the groove.

Best bet is to measure with calipers. I have two AZ barrels with the mod and each one takes a different oring size. I had to go through a bunch of sizes bc they kept cutting when I installed the barrel.

Once you get the measurements go-to the Oring store or oringsandmore and order a pack. Id order a few sizes just in case the dimension are off.

I'm into orings and more right now ordering a few. This seems to either be .013 or .014 and they are 70 durometer. I'll get 90. It's also a buddies airgun and he purchased it in Alan's Walker, IA shop many years ago.

Order 11x1 and 10x1. I believe he told me 11x1 but I use 10x1

Make sure to get them on the softer side. Buna70
These oring are a bit of a pill to slide into the action because the grub screw holes mess with them as they slide past. I find it much easier to loosen the moderator set screw and slide it off, leaving the barrel in place.

The harder 90buna cut much easier in the grub screws. But I could be wrong. Possibly if they were tighter it could improve the situation.

I tried 12x1 buna90 and they just cut to pieces

I spoke to him yesterday and he said whatever o-ring just makes it over the grooves. I grabbed some 70 duro's until I found one that stretched and did just that and now it's sealed. Very tight tolerances in these airguns. Master work on this shroud as well. I'm impressed.
