This is my original AZ Rapid...

Has an AZ Snail fart Shroud.....
But the trick part about this..... This was the First Rapid that Allen Zasadny converted to the Mark4 Trigger cartridge!!
It used to have the old teardrop-safety sporter trigger!
Theoben and Ben Taylor said it couldn't be done.... Allen called and told them they were wrong!!
It also sport a Paul Wilson Cobra Stock... another first for the MKII!

Very envious of the Mk4 trigger conversion. Is it "night and day" when comparing the 2 triggers?
It would be a shame to lose Allen's custom full shroud, if I ask Martin to do too many upgrades...
Your Rapid must have a fill port under the gun, not like his earlier quick fills installed at the muzzle-end of the bottle?

The mark 4 trigger is a close as close you can get to a match trigger!
6ozs 1st stage take up. Another 2ozs for a clean 2nd stage break!
No QF hole in this stock..classic thumbhole...my baby!
So I pop off the bottle to fill, or I use my modified AZ QF bottle

Well my Paul Wilson Cobra Stock has I think 12 coats of hand rubbed Tru-Oil on it!!

I believe mine has the stock trigger in it still, though it was gone through by both AllenZ and Martin.

The AZ shroud and bottle are sitting in my basement currently, as I had Martin install a regulator and clean up some things.

These truly are great rifles and a little piece of history!
