Does anybody know the thread size for the blank plug on the bottom of the Theoben mk2 action?

I think I messed up the female threads on the action. Could that be repaired??

Should be 1/4" bsp. How would you mess up the block threads? Carefully clean chase it with a tap or chaser bolt.

Sorry, your reply is incomplete. Do you mean BSPP or BSPT. There is a pretty big difference.

It has to be BSPP since it uses an o-ring or in some cases a dowdy seal whereas the BSPT uses thread sealant.

I called Martin Rutherford just now and left a detailed voice message and await a call back to reconfirm.

Airforce-RAW didn't know the answer.

Edidited to correct needs thread sealant for BSPT vs O-Ring or dowdy seal for BSPP.

Proof it's BSPP(Parallel threads) look it comes with a dowdy seal and the threads aren't BSPT(Tapered threads).

If it leaks there after you clean up the threads (soapy water spray bottle test) you could try using yellow gas line teflon tape thread sealer wrapped properly on the blanking plug threads in the correct clockwise orientation according to how it threads in.
