Theoben mk2 chassis

Just wanted to let you guys know some information.

I sent my mk2 down to Martin to have a go over everything as things seemed a bit off. Sent the rifle down to him to install a v block with a gauge, a regulator and a fill port. This will replace the AZ bottle, mainly for the fill gauge.

I was planning on putting a chassis on the rifle but was told by Martin that the RAW chassis won't fit my rifle. This is due to the safety switch being a different shape. My MK2 has a safety slide with the ball on it, where the newer rifles have a blade. Installing the stock on my rifle would either require removing the safety, or modifying the chassis a good deal to make things fit.

So if you are wanting to up grade an older rifle,be aware of the safety on the rifle.

maybe buy another gun and keep your rapid like it is when you get it back , i did a v-block on mine a few years back , also added a silencer because mine didnt come with one , accually found one like most of them had from the factory !

also did my super 10 , had to cut the brace out of the way to avoid using the big brass block thing , more work but looks a little better and not as heavy, also cf tanks on both , both guns accurate and fun to shoot . my v block came from The UK. on the BSA , but i think the raw would have worked , anyway try it like it is , much easier to fill now !
