Sharing some pics and an article of a very rare gun (the numbers vary, but the consensus is there were less than 3 dozen made!). I had 2, but now down to this one pictured below. The Imperator FT SLR 88 is a beautiful hand made rifle, with nice features such as a custom spec'd Anschutz barrel, adjustable straight blade trigger angled for right handed shooters (3-4 ounces), thumbhole walnut stock with adjustable knee riser and butt pad, not to mention the superb engineering of the internal components. This rifle has extremely muted recoil (I have a crude video of 2 pellets stacked atop each other - they barely move after the shot breaks) and ultra fast lock time (see the article below for more information - the Imperator FT's lock time has been scientifically clocked at 3 1/4 milliseconds - on par or even faster than some pcps!)
Most will agree that an SLR 98 is a very high quality rifle; from the bluing to the fit and finish, as well as the cocking and shooting characteristics. The Imperator FT however is in a league of its own - to hold, cock and shoot one is to understand what I mean. Hope you enjoy the pics!
