This .20 Cal. Crusader came my way last summer by way of a trade with a trusted member and within a few hours of its arrival I dropped it off at Airgunwerks for David Slade to check out and reseal
, power was set at 19fpe. I finally got the chance to do some testing the last two days. In all I shot 150 pellets, (100 day one and 50 day two) and I was done...it's a beast to cock...my hands and arms need a rest after those two sessions! I tried three pellets H&N 11.42's JSB 13.73 &15.89's, the best groups were from the 11.42's the 15.89's showed promise also but my arms and hands could only stand so much, my crony is in storage so no numbers...yet. The trigger is typical for Theoben gas rams not the best but useable and the gun can be shot accurately...if your not shaking too much from cocking it! I haven't been shooting much as I am in the process of moving to Florida so I'm not in mid season form! The two groups were 10 shots at 27y off my knee, the five shot group was first five shots of day two with a clean bbl all with the 11.42's. Shooting a classic Theoben is always an enjoyable experience for me! One more thing...it is NOT backyard friendly sound wise, by ANY means! Enjoy the pix's!
