Umarex THE ZELOS IS AMAZING

The version we would make would have m-lok standard and the arca rail would be an optional add on. This is the one we make for the Notos now. Similar to this with pic rails but option to switch to Arca. I’m considering picking up the Zelos but haven’t decided on caliber yet.

Get both as you get either one you will want the other. Lol OV.

I heard it was going to be a scorcher there, Hot here too, but not that bad, in the high 80's with high humidity in north east Texas, thunderstorms and rain, low chance of Tornadoes....
I did shoot today during the light rain, it was dead still, no wind, I shot at Vines, no critters in the rain, the Zelos outperformed itself, I swear this thing is so accurate, I'm the faulty part that could cause it to miss, I shot 65 yards to the very back of my property across the creek at a 1/4" Vine on the tree with 1 mildot hold over, cut the vine in 2, Dead on accuracy on the first mildot, same thing on closer vines, I have several high end PCP's that are not this accurate, the only one's that come close are the HW100's at 780 fps, this is shooting 921 fps, it just blows my mind every time I shoot it.

Yep

Did some more testing with my M60B in .22. after adjusting the probe length and trying a couple different LDCs, I'm going to settle on the .217 JSB KOs. I get consistent MOA at 100m and got a decent 5 shot group at 200m today. Bit of a south crosswind so should tighten up a bit when calmer.

Fx heavy liner .22
C88 valve
Tungsten hammer
Reg 170bar
6" 3d printed LDC
JSB KO .217@940-960 fps

How does yours shoot? I picked up a used shorty .22 and I’m not impressed. While cleaning it I noticed no choke and thought this might not be good. It’s even a scatter gun with every slug I tried. Mine does best with an 18gr pellet. But at 50 yards it’s horrible. I’m worn out from messing with it but might reduce my 18.1 speed down from 915 to maybe 880fps.

At 20-25 y it’s spot on with JSBs 18.13s. ( I did have to dail speed down to right @900 )

I’m sorry you’re having difficulties

How’s your crown?
I believe the creator was having a lathe issue at the time of these.

I know the JSb 18.13 has a head size of 5.52 and that might make the difference.
I believe HN may make a 5.53 head pellet.

Negative, I have not.
Now I’m getting paranoid !!

How far south at 50 is the question ??
It’s bad. I will probably be building a new barrel. Cheap gun is now becoming expensive gun because the builder took a shortcut making it shorter. It’s a lot more work but when I shorten a barrel, I always chop the breech. The choke on most China barrels is the savior.

I’d kinda like to know if the other “ shorties “ with cut barrels are shooting accurately or not.

The crown on mine did raise an eyebrow. The last maybe 2mm of rifling has a different metal appearance. Like it was polished or something. I will probably cut a new crown before it goes in the scrap pile.

I would imagine that’s why the one I bought was for sale. Right now mine is a soda can gun if I want to shoot past 30. My reg is right at 2,000psi. I figured with the choke gone it might be a slugger. Unfortunately my springers shoot slugs better.

Seller didn’t disclose it ?

I almost thought to buy that one as well … since I liked mine so much

If like you he only shot it close range, it could be declared a laser. Right now my barrel is under some tension, I’m going to take all the tension off it when the wind calms down. Too much or not enough tension on my Zbroia makes it shoot worse.

I tested a bunch of mods at 30 yards. I will also test them at 50 if the no tension thing doesn’t help. Then it’s new crown time.

Try some Benjamin .25 cal 27.8 grn, they are absolute laser accurate out of my Zelos .25, stacking pellet on pellet at 65 yards, JSB MKll's are next at 1/2" groups at 65 yards.
Well finally got the benji's I ordered from pyramid air. My zelos was more accurate with the H&N 30.86 grain at 83 yards. But thanks anyway. Always worth a try 😁

My Zelos came in today, .... it blew through 3/4" marine ply and a metal sign no problem so I think it will do fine on some medium size critters.....

What do you consider as "medium size critters"?
Hopefully, the 3/4" plywood and metal that you shot through, were not the SG and the back of a humbucker!
LOL! Nice Epiphone!
