Umarex THE ZELOS IS AMAZING

The benjis ? That’s a surprise. I shoot the JSb kings out of my .25. 25.39s
Very accurate but if I can tighten them up. One hole at 65 is fantastic. Not a surprise for the Zelos.

Umarex home runned the Notos and then Again with the Zelos
I wonder what their 3rd act will be ….
Maybe a Guantlet with a true 281/4 " barrel
It's only 23 1/2" now.

Yep Benji's, who'd of thought they would be so accurate, it must be snowing in Hell.....:ROFLMAO:, they sure got expensive though, but they work great, you go with what is the most accurate, good thing I had several tins in my pellet stash, they worked good in my Uragan too.

The New Zelos in .22 cal Arrived it's such an amazing rifle. I set the reg to 2,500 , and filled it up to 3,625 I used the 28 grain HP slugs from Hatsan there APOLO line , and got 20 regulated shots with the Chrony reading between 893.2 to 893.8.
The ZELOS is very small , and would not fit my shooting rest , so I had to shoulder the stock , and use the front part of the rest. I attached a new Spina 6 x 36 x 56 30 mm tube scope the center of the retical is a circle I really like it. The ZELOS really loves these 28 grain slugs they are very accurate. Sighting in the scope was fun , and the last 6 shots I made sharpie dots about twice the size of the slugs. I was very wobbly holding the rifle to shoulder , but got off a few good ones anyway. It was just 45 feet to target , but that is all the bigger my back yard is.😆OV.
What scope are you using for the Zelos

What scope are you using and are you using a tank for the air refills?

Here are some shot strings with my .22 Zelos, on factory reg setting, testing a few different weights a couple weeks ago.

Couple more string through the .22 with the JTS Dead Center 21.53 gr and JSB Jumbo Monster Light 20.83 gr. Will probably turn the reg down a little, still on factory setting sitting at roughly 2,100 psi. Starts falling off reg just under 2 mags, about 37 shots, so will make it 2 full mags before falling off reg. When I decide to get one in .25 I'll probably turn it down even more for more shots as it will be 80% for plinking at that point, and shoot 18 grainers.

Started falling off the reg last few shots with the Dead Centers. Will play around later this week with grouping. It's never been pellet picky for the accuracy I need it for, thrown all kind of pellets through it and as long as I'm playing my role it's hit precisely where I need for pesting so far. If I do it justice and find a pellet it really likes I'm sure it'll be even more precise, even tho it already outshoots me 😂

I have a Spina Optics 6 x 36 x 56 30 mm tube glass etched reticle. The reticle has a circle in the middle , so I draw dime size targets on my junk mail then adjust the power to fir the circle on the target , and hot the center real easy. I have a 6.8L air station set up for refills.

What’s it’s lowest parallax setting ?
I actually tried to look this up , so I did not look stupid , but I can't understand what it means . I looked up ( What does parallax mean in rifle scopes. )
I'm not understanding this can you please educate me . Once I understand I'll try to answer your question. Thanks
OldVet.

What is the nearest distance at full power that the scope will focus on?

Thanks I clearly understand that.
I only have 15 yards in backyard , or 45 feet as I say it , and have used it on full power to shoot sharpie dots very clearly. Never tried to shoot at a closer range , so today when I'm out there I will.

That is some really good numbers. I wrote down the pellets you used , and will try them. Most are just over 900 I thought for accuracy we were supposed to be between 880 to 890 for the sweet spot speed according to Nate's video's.

I was just telling perle I will jump in when they release a 177 😅 I have too many 22s, 25 is covered and no use for bigger.

I fear it's the bait that always gets me. Budget gun that becomes a Frankenstein money pit.
"I fear it's the bait that always gets me. Budget gun that becomes a Frankenstein money pit." HAHAHAHAHA although this really can apply to any air gun .

I haven't taken off my pressure gauge but typically the port for the pressure gauge is flow Limited for safety it has just a pinhole to vent the pressure to the gauge. If that is the case for the zelos having a plenum installed in that port is not ideal because the flow rate is limited. To get better flow you would have to drill out that hole to a larger size.
The port in the aftermarket plenum is 3.6 mm the guage hole is 8 mm. No need to drill it out.

I got it just to try something. I had a lot of problems between the plenum and the Huben bottle regulator.Leaks one after another. Finally went back to tube ( I like the looks and grabbing place) with plenum. It did gain 25 fps without changing anything elseView attachment 567238
How do you like that straight grip ? I like to adjust that first stage pull very long , and then with a tiny squeeze get that shot.
