The year of warranties

One thing that pleasantly surprised me about the 2018 SHOT show offerings is the extended warranty offered by a few brands.

Its nice to see them standing behind their products.

Crosman: 5 years on all new PCP's
Brocock: 3 years (transferable)
Daystate: 5 years (transferable)

*transferable upon a paid service inspection

Not at all certain of crosman's past or future warranty as far as written policy but in the past I called for parts for a used crosman I purchased and was told , if I wanted to I could just send in the rifle for replacement as it was under 1 year old and the warranty was still in effect. This was after I clearly explained this was a rifle purchased used off the classifieds.
I did end up just ordering $12.00 worth of parts as I had intended but crosman wouldn't take the money - warranty parts!- for some reason crosman through in some extra stuff. Not bad service for the price range.
Most will likely wish to send in a top shelf rig, personally I like working on them and just sending the parts if needed saves the customer a LOT of money- and generally ends your warranty but that is a nice option to have foe some-.
