The way it is today with repairing your compressors.

Why I only recommend gx compressors to people unless you are spending the big bucks on a big name one. If filling just guns I always recommend the cs2 or 3. You can order all kinds of parts from target forge in California. I ordered low pressure piston ring direct from gx. That came from China but only took two weeks. Target forge would even be faster. Added bonus is that little unit is so easy to work on.

Just don't fill scbas in 1 sitting with them and they'll live. I ruined a cs4 asking too much from it. They're not meant to do more than a buddy bottle in a single shot 100 ci or a liter or so. Give them a cool down period every 1000 psi and they seem to be happy to give you a long service life. Imho

Well you have sold me on Gx compressors. My problem is my wife. It,s you have three compressors already, ya,ya
ya, ya! I think I may buy one with out telling her, & put up with the Riff, of doing so! 🪰 Fl
go full head on trying to convince her ya need an Alkin, she will go 'no no', then after a continous trying to get the Alkin, back your negotiations back to the Gx

So far, I'm very pleased with my decision to go big and get a GX E-5K2. I hope to be posting the same thing 5 years from now (and I think I will).
I hope you do get a good five years and more out of it… This fellow member posted…

When I bought my GXcs4i in January I think pamphlet said 5 hour run time.
I have run mine 5 straight hours to fill a 9 liter from empty 2 or 3 times and
ran maybe 4 hours for 6.8 liter tanks. I have added external cooling and have
no worries about using this way. The GX is used for my convenience not to
have to babysit.
If I need faster fills I lol use my Tuxing twin but have to watch that as it’s much
faster.

I burned up so many Yong hengs and then the cs4 with my air needs and gave up and bought a full size dive compressor that does a liter a minute. Best decision in my hpa years.

I figure with 2 lower priced units at least one will be working.
I would get another Tuxing twin if there was a catastrophic failure ( case cracked, burned up)
I don’t know if I can still get one for less than $400 .
