The Walmart Yung Hen Clone, R they worth a chance?

ImpactX is right and there are likely other differences also. You can readily find and easily acquire parts for the true Yong Heng compressors, at very reasonable prices, if the need arises. I doubt you will do so, so easily, with a clone. The originals are usually better than the clones for a reason.

But if you don't mind doing the werq to use your warranty it's pretty hard to beat.

How do y'all know they're clones?? The designs outwardly are identical with the exception of the "Yong Heng" decal on the cover. I'm sure design changes happen during the production cycle of these, just like FX rifles. Do you think there are more than one Chinese manufacturing company producing copies?? I seriously doubt that. I would likely trust the ones sold at Walmart. I think a big corporation like that would take less of a risk selling inferior stuff and have to spend big bucks on lawyers. Of course that statement would open up a large discussion.

Like ImpactX said; the second stage piston is not the same but of an inferior type.

Like HeyU; said "It's China."

Like I said; most clones are not as good as the originals. It is likely that the sellers of clones use many parts from the original manufactures but the problem is they don't use them all and assembly and QC is seldom up to what the original spec is.

Big companies sell garbage all the time it is nothing unusual. But so long as they warranty these things one can safely buy one. As we have seen in several past threads, on this subject, you end up with a parts unit, as they don't want them back, and there is nothing wrong with that.

I did read something, some years back from the manufacturer, that said plainly if it does not say Yong Heng on it then it is not.
