The Wait...

How do you guys who order guns that can be up to 2-3 months wait do it? Other guns to keep you preoccupied?

I bought a RAW but it was in stock elsewhere and had no wait but lots of guys wait 12+ weeks! I can't imagine a wait like that.

My problem is my .22 Mrod is down waiting on my valve to return to me with it's upgrades, my .20 Mrod is also down due to a failure in the bolt so is getting fixed and Im guessing I have about 2 weeks before I get my WARP in my hands which was ordered 12 days ago. Which in all reality it's not a long wait but man waiting on all 3 of mine at the same time sucks! Our foreman is also gone for 2 weeks vacation so I've been staying at the dairy at least an hour or 2 later than normal making sure milkers show up and putting milk tanks together after there wash cycle. I have a good half hour to an hour where I'm just waiting around where I'd normally be shooting pigeons or something. Sucks! In 2 weeks though I probably wont know which one to shoot as I'll likely have all 3 again lol

It is what it is!
At least with a RAW you have a timeline. With FX..... You have no idea when it will arrive.

Sold my Impact waiting on my crown

@mobilemail lol no play money left heck WARP is funded thanks to PayPal Credit 6 months to pay it off :)

@Dirte I can't imagine what it would be like waiting for a Crown or Impact when the best you get is maybe by blank or blank months.

@TriggerFingr yes sadly they needed to go. Need a .22 for most the year and a .30 for some but didn't need 2 guns where one sat most the year. Sold both to combine into one. Will have the .20 Mrod but other .22 Mrod will be sold in a month or 2. Downsizing alot.

@Imold good advice there. I read alot on here and help when I can but want to be behind a trigger mostly! Hope your .45 Texan is fun!

@ashes5 that must be tough waiting with no gun! Hopefully it isn't too long for you!

@Matt247365 lol thanks! Not that I can't do it just can't imagine how hard it must be for those that wait way longer!

Dillon,

AZ took 3 months to complete my tuned .177, .20, .22 barrel Theoben Rapid MK2 rifle w/ his "Dial of Death" for all 3 barrels. She came out looking & performing better than what I expected. The cost is another story but accuracy is superb...haha...

Martin & RAW took 3 months to complete the HM1000X .25 rifle I ordered & quality of craftsmanship is outstanding.

Both rifles "downtime" was the longest wait for me for any rifle. Was it worth the wait you may ask? I would say yes as long as the rifles are accurate to your standards. What made time fly by faster for me you may ask? Me working 16 & 24 hour days & my family/kids & friends kept me extremely occupied. Basically, I mentally forgot about the rifles until "the call" finally came.

A lot of patience & the only rifle (pup) that kept me sane during this time was the .22 Shorty which I shot almost everyday.

Every1's been threw multiple air rifles. You, me, every1 on these forums are chasing the same 1 critical airgun characteristic, & that's having the most accurate rifle/pup out there. The wait is part of the game we choose to go through. For some this wait can be "a tough titty said the kitty," situation for others it's a walk in the park.

Enjoy your Warp Sir...

I sure wouldn't mind waiting for those guns Nhat! Beautiful guns you have there for sure. You are correct though sometimes you just gotta wait for the best.

My wait is very short lived. Paid Jim for the extras I had ordered yesterday and he told me guns already together as a .22 and .30 barrel is already done as well and if all went well he'd have it tested and tuned and out to me this Monday! Can't complain about that!
