Hatsan The Trouble with Blitz

Right after reading this post I went downstairs and shot these groups on my indoor 15 yard range. The unbelievably stiff trigger makes it pretty difficult to hold the crosshairs on the target. My current restraining order forbids me to get within 100 yards of any witnesses, so no sworn affidavit!

Biitz in 22 Cal. No added moderator or modifications. CPHP pellets straight out of the tin, 45 round magazine, 15 yards from a rest, Crappy 30 year old Swift 16x scope that sometimes doesn't move the POI until later.....My finger was pretty sore and starting to show a bruise after the session due to the 25+(40+?) lb trigger.

I have owned some airguns that cost the same or more than what I paid for this Blitz that won't shoot any better than this. I didn't buy it for FT or benchrest, but rather for sending massive amounts of lead downrange at exploding and flying targets! I will be buying a Blitz Bullpup as soon as they are available.

Photo Above - 10 Shot Groups - Rapid Fire - 10 shots each at about 2 shots per second - other than #3 which was 6 or 7? (Mag ran out).

Photo above - 45 shots full auto. #14 was holding the trigger down the entire mag full. #9 I took a break and did bursts as my finger was getting pretty sore. When gripping the gun tight in prep for full auto I tend to pull the groups down and sometimes to the right bit and did not compensate for that. I have shot tighter full auto groups before but couldn't find the images.

Photo above - Slow fire, 10 shots. I probably should have shot this string first due to finger fatigue but it was the next to the last one. L and O are sighters. On some days with my FX M3 I can't do much better than that with CPHPs, so maybe with the right shooter with a trigger finger made of tungsten,, those targets could be improved on?

Photo above - Last group of the session. Full auto, 45 shots. My finger was screaming and I had a hard time holding the gun steady for some reason. Still not too bad for 45 rounds in just a few seconds.

My finger tip was even more red right than this photo, after the final group. I tend to creep down on the end of the trigger which HURTS but I can't seem to stop, thus the deep depression on the left side of my fingertip that stayed like that for quite a while! A fat trigger shoe is next on my list. (Note: I had to blur my fingerprint per the witness protection system guidelines.)

Okay, CLOSE IN testimony accepted.
Anyone with some 50/75/100 attempts?
Rounds or yards? (jk)

I have only blasted steel, giant blocks of ice, exploding targets, and other stuff at 50 which is what I got this for, not for paper punching. I might try it on paper at 50 the next time out. I am guessing probably 2" 10 shots? I can get 50 yards on my property but the HOA would be knocking on my door with the sound of a full auto burst echoing off the mountains around us.

So its not your private property?

Make a new trigger blade and change a spring in the trigger assembly.
Also polish the crap out of the sears. Than it will improve a lot. Never great, but much better.

Looks great. I don't have the tools to make a new trigger or the time to cut one out with a jewelers saw so I will probably add a shoe, but will check into changing that spring. Thanks!
