The Taipans Veterans .22 Are in stock.Which Would You Pick ? Short/Standard/Long

TV = Taipan Veteran .22

CSS = Condor SS .22

Flashpop = Hatsan Flashpop .22

Disclaimer... I am just an average airgun guy with limited knowledge or experience on air gunning.

I just got a Taipan Veteran from RL Airguns (2 days old). I ordered the short version in .22. It's really short, But it does have some heft to it. So far I like it. It's relatively quiet. Not super silent but quiet enough to do some short shooting sessions in a typical San Diego neighborhood. I had a Condor SS and that was definitely louder at the medium power setting. I also had a Hatsan Flash Bullpop. I think the TV is a little quieter. Not 100% on this, but that's what I remember... they are close anyway. I am planning on putting a DonnyFL Tatsu in the near future. Now as far as accuracy, I have only put in a few rounds on the TV so far, the TV seems definitely more accurate than the CSS or the Flashpop. I know I know not in the same class because of regulator and price etc... but I'm just saying : ). The trigger on the TV is very nice. The TV has that built like a tank feel to it. Although the CSS and Flashpop are also both built well IMO... except for the Flashpop stupid magazines. They are bad or at least they where when I bought mine.... : ).

Enough rumbling (too late ? LOL) ... but to answer OPs question... I like the short version so far. But I think I will like the standard version too. Specially with the added benefit of more power. Definitely not the long version for me. It kind of defeats the purpose of a bull-pop IMO. But my short TV will turn into a standard length once I get the DonnyFL Tatsu on it : ). TV seems to be a really good airgun no matter what length you decide or prefer. Good luck and let us know what you end up with and maybe give us your thoughts on it.

hi suba do you own one? if so how do you like it ?

Yes I do, and I highly recommend it. I'm getting 42 shots at 31 ft lbs on a 250 bar fill. I also have a Cricket and the build quality of the Taipan is by far way better. The trigger is fantastic and the anti double feed is the bomb! All you read about these guns is the truth, get one.
