The STUD pellet shaker feeder thingamajiggy is freaking AWESOME!!!

So I saw a video of this pellet shaker feeder thing somewhere and thought to myself that's almost too good to be true. Ordered a feeder and a loader to test it out and got it from the mailbox today. With a little trepidation I poured a bunch of little 177 pellets into the feed and gave it a shake........OMFG! It worked like magic!!! What have this thing been all my life?

I shot over 20,000 177 pellets last 2 years and all painstakingly loaded one by one, the most dreadful part of 177!!! Not only did it work with the STUD loader I got with it, it also works with 2 existing speed loaders I bought a while ago. The reason I don't really want to use the speed loaders is they are even more painful to load than the mag but this feeder thing made it unbelievably fast and easy! WOW!!!! Mind blown! It's so simple, why didn’t I think of it before?!?!?!? Thank GOD I won't have to load another 177 mags by hand ever again! Hallelujah!

A MUST HAVE especially with 177 in FX guns.

Yup it is a great thing for sure.

I love it especially with the hands not werqing so well some days. Hard to beat they are. But getting a set in every caliber is a bit on the spendy side.

definitely handy on a cold day! Although very spendy the 177 version is a must have, even in the smaller crown mags there are 22 tiny little pellets to load and loading speed loaders with pellets backwards is even more painful. Then if you have 177 impact mag the pain almost doubles. Only thing I’m a bit bummed about is they don’t really work for slugs since slugs aren’t front heavy like the pellets and don’t want to fall into the holes like pellets.

although not sure if they are worth the coins for 25 and bigger.

qball, from my perspective they are well worth it up to .25 cal. I find the .30 cal pellets large enough to load by hand with ease, so the benefit is quite a bit less than with .25 and below. With .177 they are simply magic!

I totally agree with ChRiSiS - up to .25 cal they have become a 'must have' for me. (And for my local shooting buddies. Once they try my loaders, they are pretty much hooked).

I really like the new direct-to-magazine filler they have come out with for the Impact. The more I use it, the more it is breaking in and the better it works. Biggest issue with it: Lets me shoot too many pellets in a session!

Especially for the .177 cal version, do note the information on Stud's web page that these do not sort pellets heavier than 10.3 gr well (if at all). Without the proper nose-to-tail weight ratio, the pellets just don't drop into the holes of the feeder device. And heavier pellets do NOT meet this ratio criteria. 8.4's and 10.3's - no problemo though.

Tested it out more yesterday this is bad for my pellet stash. I end up loading 2 mags and 2 speed loaders in less time than load 2 mags by hand plus no fiddling or dropping them in the wrong way. It so fast I ended up shooting half of a tin of pellets in like half an hour, it’s crazy fast and very little concentration is even needed. One of my best purchase ever!!!
