Which slugs are you shooting out of which airgun with success?

Michael my impact mk2 really likes the knockouts out of a slug A liner.

NSA.25cal 36.2gr out of my M3 at 980fps

NSA .30cal 49.5gr out of my MKII at 980fps. 

I've tried almost every slug available but NSA gives me the best results.

700mm Heavy from my .22 Maverick has had excellent results using .217 from JSB , H&N Slug HP, NSA and FX. Patriots are on the way in 23 and 26gr.

It is a good thread Michael as several pcp producers were /are reluctant to dig into slug capable barrels ( exept fx) because “ there are no companies producing consistent slugs for the airgun world “ Well as you show, and there are a few more good companies making slugs, meanwhile there is no excuse not to produce pcp’s well equiped for slug use. Let Ed from Edgun who is very progressive with his technical talents no longer be reluctant to dedicate his great rifles to slugs because there is no consistent suppply in the market as he once stated few years ago. As there is now plenty and pcp producers need to adapt. I would have bought a Kalibrfun, Edgun , Vulcan etc if I could rely on their designs/barrels to shoot slugs as good as fx superior barrels can. ……till now it seems a lottery…

in favor of mentioned brands competing with FX I want to emphasize that they make super airguns …. Most of the time better/ more solid / less vulnerable than FX but less progressive in adjustability and ability to shoot slugs. And let’s face it “ slugs have a bigger future than pellets” ! ( maybe a thread title for discussion…..

Ive been lucky as the the Zans have never taken more than a week to arrive.

I have been shooting hn 21 .217 the last 3 100 meter matches in my country.

My bsa barreled taipan veteran standart shoots them at 275 ms, if maxed out at 120 bar huma reg it is 285 ms.

Pretty good results the last contest:

I got 1st in the unthetered class 2nd overal airrifle.

My Impact Compact in .25 cal loves the Altaros slugs. That group is at 50 yards. That wild shot is what happens when you have your finger on the trigger before target acquisition.

The 49.5 grainer are averaging 803fps out of the 500mm barrel. Almost 71 fpe.

My Air Venturi Avenger 22cal has proven to really like three slugs in this order

1. FX Hybrid - 22 grain
2. H&N 0.217 - 21 grain
3. JSB Knockout 0.216 - 25.39 grain

   I'm running these at about 850FPS. I'm getting about 1" groups at 75 yards consistently even in moderate wind.
   
   I think that it is interesting that the H&N 0.217 work well and the JSB 0.216 work well, but the JSB 0.217 are not as consistent as the same diameter slug in H&N. Proof positive that these barrels like what they like.

.25 700mm FX slug A liner loves the NSA 33.5, 36, 36.2, 38.5gr and Varmint Knocker 34gr slugs @ several velocities from 740 to 960fps. Mostly < MOA at 100 yards they are.

I ordered NSA slugs Sunday and they came here to the house in southern California Thursday

Howler slugs in my mk2 that I had! They stacked in .22cal!! In my daystate .177 they are very accurate!
