Wow , i am posting looking for a follow up on how this does out in its natural habitat

I hadĀ Air SuperiorityĀ (Airguns of Arizona's custom shop) remove 6'' off the breech side of the barrel. They cut it, re-profiled it, threaded it, and added a tapered lead-in.
Upon its return I gave it a quick polish and tune. I wanted to shoot it low power on steel targets. I figured out that the suggested colors on the regulator gauge (green, yellow, red) are there for a reason. When I turned the regulator too low (into the redĀ which is below 100b) the refresh rate suffered. So I settled on borderline yellow/green (about 125b). I then used the hammer adjuster to set JSB 15.9g at 775 fps (just over 20 FPE). It's about as quiet as it gets now, and still shooting pretty flat. My targets are steel plates between 20y and 45y.
I just swapped out optics for a Sig Sauer Romeo8 red-dot and ran through a quick drill.Ā

Go Shorty,... It's your birthday... Sweet looking rig, at 20 FPE it must be really dead solid to shoot. Seems likeĀ you'reĀ using it for shooting drills, is that the reason for the build? Looks like it would be a superb pester/hunter, the rats wouldn't stand a chance.

Michael, what year version is that LCS? Iām questioning as you were able to swap grips no problem? Or is it the early model that required a K&L adapter on the trigger block so as to be able to use aftermarket grips?
