The scuba shop only fills to 3500psi.

My PCP takes 3600,that said I am wanting to get a PCP that takes 4200 psi.

Question, what limitations will the 3500 fill have?

Do I need to limit what PCP I get,like under 3500psi, find a different Dive shop?

Can a 3500psi bottle fill pressurize the PCP above 3500 ?

What would you do,Thank you for your advice.

A 3500psi fill limits means less shots per fill. On a 4200psi gun quite a few less shots.

When I first got my Impact I had that same dilemma. So, I finally broke down and bought a Yong Heng compressor. Never looked back after that. All of the air I want anytime I want. I would do it again and again and... I am down to $.006 per shot for air at the moment and headed lower it is.

You're in the Bay Area, look for a certified hydro shop. Probably the cleanest/best 4500psi fill you can get other than nitrogen.

Should you get a compressor you'll still have a tank which can be useful. I use my 80cf tank to tether shoot my ArtemisPP700SA........ shoot for hours and the guage barely moves.

yong heng only $250-300 with free shipping in the USA. takes 1 week to get it. Its a no brainer. I used it to fill my 75cf tank to 4500 psi no problem.. dont over heat it. and only use max 30 mins at the time and let it rest. Repeat till tank is full.
