The right tool for the job - CHRONOGRAPHS!

I’ve been using the pro chrono dlx, with some cheap usb lights and a battery pack. I typically shoot from my garage, so having the lights makes it very reliable and it just doesn’t miss shots. It sends the data to my phone or iPad, where it stores for reference.

B) ProChronograph, as I have been utilizing their various models through its evolution. I have yet to encounter a single glitch and feel it’s the best bang for the buck. Bright sunlight with the sun shades, cloudy or shady areas as well as the basement using led puck lights - works every time! 


Like others have mentioned grab one on sale for under a hundred. Much prefer to buy pellets with the savings over the other models/options.

I got mine in 2018 from Airgun Depot for $130 which included shipping. They list close to $160 now.

Competition Electronics ProChrono DLX with the light kit for me. It rarely misses any shots, easy to set up, it speaks to me, and shots are easy to edit.

MagnetoSpeed V3

Takes a minute to set up, but has worked on everything that I've tried it on, even pistols. Has been repeatable in removing it from the gun, and reinstalling it, and recording the same values. And you don't need a table to use it !
