The revere finally gets some squirrel action

I haven't had the opportunity to score any tree rats with the revere yet since the weather was too hot. It has cooled off some and with the season change coming soon, they have been much more active. They also avoid my bait stations like the plague now lol.

Got a male cruising the power lines this morning. Hit him with a quartering shot. Entering the base of the neck on the right, and stopped under the skin under the left front leg. Vitals sad bye bye lol.

Then I got a barking female out of the tree, good head shot on her. Both taken at approximately 40 yards. Such a sweet gun for the job!

Couple pics of the recovered FX atomic pellet. Didn't expand really, but it still did the job just fine.

Looks good? That is OK but it kills good. A great gun. B.
Indeed it does. I got a starling at close 60 yards the other day. It was up in a tree about 60 feet too. Just held over about 1.5 inches and let it rip. These were all off hand shots, just sitting with my elbow rested to my knee for support. Damn fine guns.

Maybe you could tell. By Death to Squirrels is my motto these days. Those little terrorists have done so much damage. I have NO sunflowers for seed now. I don't care that my walnuts are gone. That tree is leaving soon. It isn't great wood as it is only about 55 to 60 years old. But it is walnut with some possible crotch grain and such. Their den trees and an oak are going too. Might get a piece of wood big enough and sound for a Revere. Keep up the good work. Did I mention although the little terrorists don't have good taste they TASTE GOOD! Be Well Dr. K, Bandito.
