The Red Wolf 🐺 has arrived, and life will never be the same!

I generally dislike electronica things. I like Walnut I like metal I don’t like plastic. And previous to today a rifle should not be Electronica.

I had one of the very first daystate field target rifles with the electronica trigger and systems Way way back. I didn’t like it.

This thing freaking rocks. I shot one at a field target match last summer and was totally amazed. This one is a 22 caliber monster. Shooting 980 on medium. With the 25 cal re-designs. That’s crazy.

I had to run home to meet the brown truck. And then I came immediately out to shoot. The Brown Truck actually came early!

This is twice in the last two weeks that I’ve gotten absolutely perfect weather to test a new rifle. Usually I get a blizzard or a monsoon for a week.

Here is my first card with the red wolf. Thankfully I beat my best score with the Daystate HPR wolverine I shot last week.

I had one absolute flyer. It’s like it just dove for the ground after it came out of the barrel. It was a six. Think about a lot of F bombs flying.

Now I understand what all the fuss is about. AOA was great to work with. I even won the wood lottery.

It did not get the special tuning package. I asked them to set it up at the high end of the velocity curve so I could shoot EBR.

The hug it is from my D state wolverine RHP. It was throwing pellets around a bit, so I carefully cleaned the barrel with JB bore paste. I think that helped, but it also seem to settle down when I added the muzzle break. Which doesn’t surprise me.
