Thanks. Can’t wait to tell the wife we’re starting another business. She’s a wicked cook. But mention work.

AitGun & Range

Could potentially make a buck on that.
Yes. I would have to lose 40 years to even consider. Crow

I finally finished the 47 yd. frame. Lots of open space. Behind the targets is a big Hemlock tree. I placed 3 cedar trees in front to protect it. Need to rearrange. Kinda threw targets on.

I have 10 X 8 silhouette targets balanced on 4x4's, cut to fit and tied down. I place them from 25 to 50 yards in the back yard. I'll often see how accurate I am by going through them all with one or two springers. I keep track of my misses. Often just one or two misses, most on the longer shots. Takes a bit of time, and with all the knocking down it is very entertaining. I can only imagine how long it would take to hit each of your targets. Seems like a nice challenge ;-)... Cheers! Rick

Holy Molies you took some great time and effort into this. Looks great! Nothing better than a well built range with lots of targets. As a side note, I'd kill for an excavator....Just kidding but i'd really love to have one.
Thanks.
I wanted an excavator ever since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. Drove my wife crazy for 40 years. She said over her dead body. Finally, for my 60th birthday, she said I could buy an excavator. She now says that was by far the best investment we ever made. I used for 3 years and sold for same dollar value. No brainer. Never had any experience but could now shuffle cards with one. The power amazed me. Good luck. Crow
How in the world do you keep track of which target to shoot next? Do you shoot L to R or R to L or Top to Bottom or ???? Sheesh, that’s a really nice set up and I mean no offense but more than one target to engage would drive me bonkers.
Thanks. No set pattern. I never get bored shooting and I shoot a lot. Crow

Every year spring time to me is rearrange the range. This year I got a little push from Mother Nature. I went through my pics and pick 1 for each year.
This is 2020 the first target, Center right. A little ruff. View attachment 5583152021 Major digging. The dump truck and excavator were easily my all time favorite toys. Never drove either before I scored them. The changes I did were endless. Had them both for 3 years and sold and miss them. View attachment 5583172021 the range is taking shape. Shoot between the rocks. Frying pans, were noisy. View attachment 558361
2022 busy year on yard. In the fall of 22 I lined the range with 30 tons of rock.
View attachment 5583242023 View attachment 5583252024 I finished my 6 year project on yard, so the range was abandoned. View attachment 558327And this is a month ago. Snow finishing its melt. Notice the maple at the top right. View attachment 558330One week later we had 3 days of freezing rain. That’s the same tree. View attachment 558331Power was dead so I cut off lines. No power 10 days.
It ripped up the range pretty good. That’s Iron wood bowing which I later pulled back with ropes and left tied down. View attachment 558332For the better part of this week I did a major cleanup. And have the sore body to prove it.
A member mentioned cinder blocks and I adopted the idea with I think success. The Maple that fell, I secured it up top and used it to hold 2 poles.
A little gravel to keep it clean when wet.
View attachment 558354This is what I see from my bench. Will make a few small adjustments. I’m looking forward to smacking some targets. View attachment 558355This is 25 yds. to 35 yds. and have a section to the left of this range that can give me 48 yds, which is my next project. Already started. Crow
Wonderful Range , you need paper holders for your 300JR
