Going to do this in parts, pictures are scattered.
I bought a 20 ton excavator and dump truck, used for 2+ years and sold, best toys ever.

Pretty ruff but I put a lot of rounds in there.

Thanks you should see what I do for an encore. CrowI like your style Crowski. The man never leave a stone unturned. Very nice .That will handle the .20 cal. Lol.
I had a 12 ft. wide roll it was like real heavy felt. Got from excavator purchase. What is the black, fabric or is that plastic?
The proper material for the job would have been a non woven geotextile. It would help the boulders hold back the earth.
Hard to tell in the pictures, is there a way for water to drain other than going down the berm, over or through your boulders? That would help a lot for longevity.
wish I lived where I could build something like that. I’m envious.
Sounds like the right stuff — heavy felt is a good way to describe a non woven geotextile and 12 foot wide roll is pretty commonI had a 12 ft. wide roll it was like real heavy felt. Got from excavator purchase.
This stuff looks like a cheap tarp. Supposedly weed control, good enough for the girls I go out with.
Curious now about drainage, we get some nasty rains. Should be good. Crow

what state are you in — does the ground freeze?
You sound like my wife. I always told her, in her past life, she was the one who was beating the drum on the back of a Spanish Galleon. Crownext project has to be cabins for us to stay in ?
