That mesh is interesting. No big holes made from repeatedly targeting the same spot? May need to try that on my own rubber mulch traps. Matter of fact I have a new box one that needs to be done.

Go to the garden section in places like Home Depot.
The new mesh is over the old mesh. The old mesh is destroyed by the pellets...

Indeed! I’m probably gonna stick with cardboard then. It holds very well for a few sessions and I keep a fresh supply on hand. The Shoot ‘n See stickers stick right on it.

Home Depot in my area does not carry rubber mulch.
Lowes does.
I've found out that every Home Depot's inventory varies. Ours does carry the mulch. One way to check is to go online, select an item, then check to see if they will do an in-store pick-up option for your selected store. If not, that means they don't carry it ... even though the next store over might.

Same thought I got when I saw the setup. No big holes after years shooting around the same spot......? That would be my first consern, but now it`t proved otherwise. Nice!

I think 80 cu ft of mulch would fill about 40-50 backstops.
So if I wanted to build a mulch trap that would stop 100fpe, how deep do you think the mulch would need to be?

ctshooter
100fpe at the muzzle, correct?
For someone to figure that out for you the distance to the trap would need to be known, I think.
