I had a change to finally print my prototype p90 chassis last night. A set my printer to the fastest settings with the least amount of filament used. I was able to print both pieces in around 10 hours., but I think the time will double when I set my final settings for infill and walls. For now, it was fine and I was able to mount the Notos into the chassis without a hitch. There were a few issues to iron out but man, I am excited to be so close to having a final product.
The most interesting part of this build was how i was going to handle the bullpup trigger mechanism. There were suggestions to use an electric trigger but I couldn't really find anything--- maybe I just didn't look hard enough but honestly, i wanted to keep it simple and use a linkage system. KMy train of thought was to use sometime of rod to link the front trigger to the sear. The design is simple and I was able to get it to work after some thinkering.
I've included a few video links to my youtube page if you would like to take a look at the progress.
