1st - Gordon Dawson ceramic ball bearing competition trigger in my Swift Rapid

The Theoben/ RAW mk4 triggers are very good but the Dawson is in a different league

I have to say that the Anschutz trigger on the older rapids is also exceptional and although the old gamo is often ridiculed, with a few modification it can be made much better and is my favourite “hunting” trigger particularly when shooting in the cold and wet.

RAW. The components are robust, not a bunch of delicate little pieces. Adjustment is fairly easy too. MY TM1000 BR gun broke at 2 oz.

Not including pistols, I Love my RAW HM1000 trigger, smooth light first stage, sharp, defined "wall", then a light crisp snappy break devoid of any hint of creep. My AA Prosport is also very very good, after that is the BSA R-10 followed by the FX Bobcat and then Cricket. After that, TO6 and then my walther LGU.... followed by my Gamo CFX. The Rekord trigger is right there with the Prosport, the HW100 is equal to my RAW. The marauder was about equal to the TO6 and better than my LGU. . I've not shot a good number of fine guns though, like Steyr, FWB or Anchutz, etc.

Hmmm, I think I need to sell some guns.

I never had or even shot an electronic trigger. Don't really want to at this point in my life. But for an out of the box mechanical trigger that I never had to do anything to except pull adjustments it is hard to beat what came on my IZH-46M. Clean, crisp and as light as you want it.

I really like the trigger on my FWB 603 for 10 meter stuff but the trigger on my HW 100 rules them all!

I had an R10 with a Record trigger, very nice. Best quality trigger under $500.00 that I personally have shot? I'm going with Diana/RWS T series triggers... but I am sure there are others out there I have not shot.

For me it is my T-06 34P. In my very limited experience (sample of one) it is better than the Record. That is gonna trigger somebody though, I hesitate to even post this for the flamers. I can smell the smoke.

haha. I’ve had both. I stayed for the Rekord, but no no flames here just disagree. The T-06 is well respected in its class.

The trigger on my 1989 Venom Lazaglide HW 80 has a Mach 1 trigger made by Venom arms. Over the years nothing else has come close and I’ve tried a few.
