I have been playing with guns that use air to shoot projectiles for a very long time....and doing "adult" airguns for about 30 years now....and still have most of them.
Seeing how things are changing so fast I am interested on what you see as the next big thing.....but let me define that a bit.
We are already seeing PCP guns that are in the sub $200 range that will shoot darn good, we see sub $300 regulated guns....I am not talking about in the next year we will see a $250 regulated gun....I am talking the next thing that people will go wow, get a big buzz going like the gauntlet/maximus/chief/multishot spring guns....what is next.
For me I am thinking the slow death of CO2 guns.
Standing back and looking at the market I see one big hole.....the replica guns are all still using CO2....it is a very small form factor, and works real well in a replica rifle or pistol.
I am thinking we will start to see replica rifles first, then replica pistols that use HPA....the fill is the one thing that will need to be overcome....but past that it sounds great.
I look at select fire as a toy, but I think it will sell.....but not like having a HPA 1911, Garand, 98k....
Thoughts?
