Looks a little like the an Avenge action. That being said there will be some similarities in a mono block action.

I cannot wait to get one. I want it now! In fact, I likely will purchase two and any mods that AGR and JSAR develop.
As to my other four M-Rods, means nothing, I love them and will continue to shoot them. Resale was never a concern and should not be for a company to advance and provide a new product. FX comes out with new models it seems weekly, the M-Rod in Gen 1 and Gen 2 had long runs, now it is time for the Gen 3.
I do hope for the bottle to be optional. And a carbine version would be nice. Length and weight matter to whomever is (might be) listening. Oh, and not change it constantly and once the gun is out, please let it alone. That way the aftermarket can develop parts (including AGR) with some confidence the rifle will be a mature, design stable platform for useful mods to make the rifles unique, like the previous M-Rods.

That might be a bit much to hope for from Crosman, considering they often seem perpetually late to the prom (by a few years).
Modularity might be decades away.

Not sure what you mean as I am pretty sure the M-Rod was the new kid on the block for value and performance when they first came out. They are modular now. To change between .177 and .22 all that is needed is the barrel and the bolt. The .25 has a different receiver due to the size and length of .25 pellets compared to .177/.22 requiring a thicker magazine. Perhaps the Gen 3 will accommodate more fully barrel and caliber swaps, agree, that would be nice.

LW is considering firing up production within the US as well. Importing was a big issue with companies here. High dollar and 6 month waiting time. I only see good things for the future.The Gamo buy out is paying off with those (bsa) hammer forged barrels

Again, I hope it can use both a tube and a bottle?
My only real complaint, other than a bottle (not carry friendly for walk about hunting) is I hope the moderator is not built on like the Urban. I would prefer a threaded muzzle or shroud.

It’s also good development practice so to keep cost down. Planning for the future is what’s most important to extend a legacy.

Definitely not in ‘26. The good part is the barrels are 15mm OD from BSA. Also LW kits could be offered through AGR or other airgun businesses as they have 15mm as well.

When it comes to the common dimensions I refer to my earlier statement about Tom Gaylord doing a full article on the gun from the cup and not giving up certain info out of respect. Sorry about that.
