Hey guys. I've posted a few threads here about testing different lubes, washing and lubing, just lubing and shooting pellets straight out the tin. My results showed that washing and lubing pellets with abu garcia silicote reel oil had the best results for accuracy and consistancy. I was thinking that if I could get the pellets even cleaner I might have even better results. I was correct in thinking this. I soaked pellets in Hoppes no. 9 bore cleaner for 15 min. Stirred them around, rinsed and put them in hot soapy water (dawn), stirred them and rinsed, then into rubbing alcohol and a good rinse. These pellets were the most shiniest, cleanest pellets I've ever seen. After drying in the toaster oven I lubed them and was able to shoot 3 mags before it got too dark out. Jsb 33.95gr mk2 out of my .25 wildcat at 65 yds. Back to back 5/8 inch group's followed by 8 shots at my shooting gallery hitting every target ( 1/2 inch spinner rods) a couple pieces of chalk and two thumb tacks. I can't wait until tomorrow to get back out there.
