Has anyone tried coating lead pellets with moly ???? if so any problems also any improvements of any kind. Does it foul as much, velocity increase, any improvements in accuracy or is it worth the trouble. We have used it on our 17 Rem. to keep it from fouling so quick.

The conscience of opinion is that it doesn't help. I haven't tried it, but others have.
By the way, you might switch to Danzac (tungsten disulfide), rather than moly. It doesn't rub off as easily, and is a bit slipperier than moly.

A little moly is good, a lot isn't. A talented local gunsmith told me that moly accumulates with repeated firing. While initially it will increase velocity a bit, it will build up on the barrel and cause problems over time. The same gunsmith told me that it is incredibly hard to remove: it is close to permanent so when it starts to cause problems you can't just clean it out.
