In this case, the longer barrel is not needed ! So Fx impact, Is the 700mm long barrel necessary? Or just make impact more expensive, longer and worse?

Longer barrels = More speed and stability, if that is what you need go ahead ... if not, why fix it if is not broken...

It's simple. If you intend to hump the thing through the woods, you sure don't want a long barrel. If you are always shooting from a fixed position the long barrel allows greater efficiency, higher velocities on less air and less noise. Your choice.
