FX Leopard is shooting well. Just changed the scope.
Groups I have posted were made with the Vulcan 3 700 mm .25 Cal.
Taking pictures of the groups is doable. Taking a video not so easy.

Squirrel-> 45 mt
First pellet trap an rabbit ->60 mts
Coyote -> 70 mts
Racoon -> 80 mts
Second pellet trap 90 mts (groups shown are at that distance).
Third pellet trap-> 110 mts
Deer-> 110 mts
Jack rabbit -> 115 mts
Bear -> 120 mts

Maybe the camera is playing tricks on my eyes but those animals look HUGE and not to scale.

Made a 5 shot group at the bear at 132 yards (120 mts).
Leopard with NSA 29 grain slugs does it well at that distance:

I do not know why but FX leopard makes better groups at 132 yards than at 100.
There were some wind but these groups at 100 yards do not compete with those of the Vulcan 3 700 mm.

Hey, that’s pretty outstanding shooting. I guess the beauty of living in a town with great weather but nevertheless, I’ll say great shooting. What do you have your rifle set up and what kind of pallets are you using?

I tried but could not achieve it. Mora .25, 29.5 AEA pellets @970-ish. One card was a .30 RAW with 45 AEA pellets. Pretty calm conditions today, 2-5 MPH winds, 11 gusts.

I really suc at 100Y with pellets. I can get a sub MOA group here and there but to do it consistently … nope.

That's nearly all of us, when we're being pragmatic about it and not cherry picking.
Notice the projectile that started this topic is a slug. BC is king. Even my lowly first gen .20 slugs have a BC nearly double that of even the best pellet BCs.
To compare a projectile with a BC of 0.05 to one of 0.06, somewhat negligible difference. But to go all the way up to 0.1, against something with a BC of 0.05-0.06......the difference in difficulty level of long-range precision is very evident.
Regardless of where slugs take us and competitive airgunning, I personally hope there will always be a place for pellets to compete. They simply require more skill to accurately place than slugs.
