Went with my adult son to a permission where there are some doves doing damage to the farmers feed supply for his dairy farm.The first opportunity was a 30 yard shot on the peak of a barn. I had forgotten the Primos tripods so shooting was non assisted while sitting. He took a shot and missed. That Brocock with the Donny Fl Koi on it was so quiet the bird just looked around. He got a second shot and nailed it. He got the first kill on my new gun. The same thing happened on the 3rd bird that was 75 yards away. His first shot was high and the bird stayed put. The second shot brought the Dove to the ground. I cannot emphasize enough how quiet the Sniper is. I am pretty impressed with it. Huma regulated, power adjuster, large air supply via bottle, accurate, nice magazine design, If it was just a little shorter, sort of semi-bullpup ish, I'd like it better. But quit complaining already, Jim. It's a great PCP.

Congrats on a successful day! I too went out today. A semi local gigot a hold of me earlier this week and wanted to go out to one of my permissions. He drove 2.5hrs one way. I call that dedication. Was it kind of a dry run for the first part of the day for you guys? Seemed really slow for some reason today.

I have a Sniper in .22 and it's an awesome gun for sure, was shooting it at 85 yards yesterday and the gun just impresses the hell out of me, and yes, a 480 cc CF bottle gives a huge shot count for sure. Right now mine is set at 32 foot pounds with 18.1 JSB Exacts, I have adjusted gun up and down and its amazing what you are able to do with the Sniper with a wide variety of pellets. Set up for plinking and get a huge shot count, set up for hunting with good knockdown power, I set up once with 21.1 gr Beeman Kodiaks @35 foot pounds and the Kodiaks are accurate at long range.
