The best kit for TX 200 mk3 cal.22 for hunting

I’ve got a pro sport and an hw97k and have used Maccari and Vortek kits in both guns with good success. The Vortek kits tend to produce more power because they use a shorter and larger diameter spring. The Maccari kits use a smaller diameter spring with more preload. The shot cycle is snappy with the Vortek kits and more docile with the Maccari kits. IMHO both kits are an improvement versus OEM and deciding which kit is “best” is largely subjective and a function of what you’re looking to accomplish. If you are primarily hunting, then the extra power of the Vortek kit might be the best option. Their new HO PG3 kit can generate power of more than 15fpe. The design is very clever too and allows for easy power adjustments by removing coils if you like.

honestly, i feel and believe (I have a prosport) that the factory spring is very good indeed and w/properly fitted guides is nothing to snub your nose at. As for macarri, well he and his products have been serving the AG community for a very long time and never have I heard a bad thing about him or his products. Vortek, well thats another story.
