Some had "issues" understanding what the Altaros regulator can do and can't to.
First of Altaros gurantees it between 100bar~1500psi and 200bar~3000psi. It will go way further than that!
I have had one of mine adjusted as low as 50bar~750psi and it works 100% in that pressure range. The other one is set at 250bar~3625psi for when i shoot my Texan tethered and it has worked like that at least once a week for the past year and i have'nt seen a drift in set pressure at all.
The ring with bleed screw and pressure gauge can be roteted freely in both directions 360deg for best wiev (until pressurised then it stays put!!!). There is slight resistence from the O-rings.
The pressure gauge shows output pressure after regulator. So tesitng/setting is easy. Plug outlet mount on bottle and apply pressure. Bleed and adjust until desired. It cant be adjusted without dismantling!
The male foster fitting that screws into the regulator is (and only needs to be) hand tight!
Likewise with the pressure gauge (O-ring at the bottom) so no need for more than hand tight.
Same goes for bleed screw (it fits and don't leak) so light hand tight is plenty.
Regulators:
Ring svivel:
Foster male:
Mark your settings for repetability ( I do a light scrape with a sharp knife (scalpel) just enough to touch the elox):
