The 2000 and over price range ,

With the new RTI Prophet II hitting the 2000 dollar price range , It really opens up lots of guns for me. The full auto guns , Hubin , The LCS , I am still steering away from the FX Impact 10 years ago i was told this is not a backyard gun , Its the most complicated air gun made and is for turners and people that can fix Orings

So I am back to my Veterans build like tanks and super accurate under 1500, My Crickets My 1st love built to last a live time . My 22 Cricket has shot a billon pellets and never worked on over the last 12 years. My Uragan in 177 made me a tank believer as I get around 500 shots per fill, I will never buy another air gun with out a tank, OK, There is a 99% chance I am going to buy the high dollar prophet, My 25 high power shoots a lot of pellets , Just tried the JSB slugs and I am impressed, easy to tune, Got to slap the 177 barrel on it and try some slugs just to see, easy to run them up past the sound barrier , And its made simple and has 1/4 the orings of the other guns , Hell may just fix up my 760 Crossman and shoot it and save my money

my 25 prophet is my most favorite ag right now

ive owned alot of pcps, im actually overstocked right now, i do have a mkII and a M3, to compare the rti goes like this: im a lefty which already makes the prophet better except the lever is on the left. i had a little show down between the mkII 25 and prophet 25 the accuracy results were equal or inconclusive. i have some tactacam footage shooting 6 full beer cans in a row @ 150 yards with my prophet, i love the look of the prophet way more than the impact.

Remember the 'old days' when an airgun which cost $2k was something really, really, really special? Now it has gotten to where an upper quality PCP gun which 'only' costs $1,500 is seen as a real 'bargain'. And that is kind of the value segment where the Eastern Euro guns have been (until they got more well known, started winning competitions, etc.).

Obviously some will argue with the above - those who fully enjoy their Hatsans, Krals, Crosmans, Benjamins, etc. But heck, who would have predicted a $1,000 Benjamin (Gunnar) a few years ago?

At least with all of the 'new & improved' models coming out, 'bargains' are still available when buying buying used and/or the previous generation, and they still shoot incredibly well. The announcement of the Prophet 2 was the reason I was able to purchase a beautiful and highly discounted Prophet recently. I guess in the end we are all very lucky with the choice we have in airguns today, even if our bank accounts don't feel so lucky.

You guys got to remember I am in West Texas , There are no air gunners around , Well maybe 300 miles away but not close, I got to keep it on the down low side if I spend 2000 + scope 700 rings, bipod so bumping the 3000$mark, So *I got to make sure them people in the white lab coats don't come knocking on the door. Not to long ago people got sent to the funny farm for spending that kind of money on a pellet gun. Just wondering if that funny farm has feral pigeons and rats? This may work out in my favor.
