The 1977 Sheridan Is a chippy 🐿 hunting machine.

4 for 4 this afternoon. Although one took me two shots, I blew the first one right by him. He didn’t seem alarmed.

A factory Sheridan CO2 rifle I believe would put them out there around 590 to 600 ft./s. This is a little hotter at around 675. When that 20 caliber pellet hits them. It’s all over.

Out past 20 yards, the chipmunk looks so small through the peep 👀 site. And I’m obviously aiming at their heads. I mentioned the trigger on this rifle is delightful. It seems to go off on its own at the perfect time. I have no other real explanation for the head shots with open sites at 25 yards.

if you can find one of the old Sheridan CO2 rifles, I would highly recommend it.
