Texas heart shot

Caught this guy from behind... 25 yards and about an 80 degree incline.. I've had Texas heart shots in the past but nothing like this.. it ripped the back of the bird open... Shot with .25 predator polymags at 940fps out of my MKII Impact.. video is of the bird after the shot... https://youtu.be/4uB2hCEKmxQ

Shot it out the window with the Impact.. took the 1322 out in case there were any more lurking in the tree.. didn't feel like going back in to get the impact for the photo shoot so the little gun got to take the pic with the perpetrator 😁😁..

Nice 1377.. how did it get stolen?? If you built it from scratch, when it goes missing it hurts more..

Built it up from scratch inside and out. Brother got out of prison and I had to get rid of all of my guns quick cuz he was comming to live with me. Moved them next door with my x sister-in-law temporarily. Her druggie, at the time, daughter moved back in and her and her buds got three or four firearms and six or eight of my best built air guns before I understood what was going on and moved them out of there. Probly 4K into them.

So, my brother got out of prison, my mom died, I got assaulted nearly killed by a stranger, forty yards from my front door, and my guns got stole all in about a four month time frame. Ouch, that was a rough few months back then.

I have the parts to build another similar gun but Ricks grips cannot be replaced. They made the gun.

You really did some job on your gun for sure. I can't get over how great it looks!

Yup it was crazy and I am still improving a bit at a time from the assault ten years back. Lost near 14 years of memory and much of the rest is Swiss cheese. Titanium plates in my larynx, one inner ear destroyed and the other damaged so vertigo and brain damage are my constant companions and why I had to retire early. Lost several molars and ended up very claustrophobic after waking up in the intensive care unit with tubes and stuff hanging out of my throat and having a very rough time breathing for several days.

But we all have our personal stuff to overcome in this world. It is what makes us who we are and betters us if we allow it.

Damn... Sounds like you went through a lot.. maybe should have kept them in a safe in a storage unit or something.. hopefully all that drama is over and you can enjoy your toys again..

I can't take credit for the gun as I didn't build it.. I bought it from dale from CROSMODS.. only one he made... He wasn't selling it but I was buying it if you know what I mean... Overpaid but I was in love as soon as I saw it.. one of those had to have it type deals... I've had it for 7 years and just got around to shooting it..
