I've been looking for instructions on how to drain the bottle and remove the valve so I can rebuild it. Any help would be apricated. Compared to the other brands I have worked on the texans seems like a waste land. I gave up on finding info on the trigger long ago .

Be careful... I don't exactly know how the valve works but if you shoot it too many times it will come apart with the pieces rolling around in the bottle. Some more experienced members may chime in with a better explanation. You can change the o ring behind the top hat without taking the valve apart. It will slip over. My 50 Texan eats a a few of those o ring s up. I don't know if you can crack the pressure gauge loose slowly and realize the air. Hopefully you get more help here on the forum.

Losen the pressure gauge (roughly 1/4 turn) until it seeps and wait.
Dry firing it will, as RM say, smack the valve to bits.
What do you want to do to the trigger???

But if you're looking for a hair trigger you are sadly mistaken, the innards are crudely made and there is nothing to gain.
Only omitting the safety auto reset is worth working on in there.

Thanks My mane guns are springers and if something slides past another thing I polish it. I didn't expect much from going into the trigger other than not having to wait for the pieces to grind together.

You are rite about the trigger. The sear on the trigger is about all you can do. The valve rebuild went well my spread was reduced.

Thanks One thing I forgot to ad is the hammer spring adjustment. There is a thick tar like grease that is used to quiet the spring. I put some on the threads to make a little resistance ,polished the ends of the spring and hammer. Now it doesn't float around and no longer feels like junk. Just polishing the end of the springs in any gun will improve it.
