Texan Rail conversion

Need a little help here. I'm tired of not being able to find the rail accessories I want in 11mm. Especially the sling mount. Yes Airforce makes them, no,nobody has them. So I'm going to do a full picatinny adapter conversion. But here I am on the road for weeks on end and my rifle at home. So my question to you fine airgunners is this-
Anyone feel like measuring the bottom and top rails on their Texans for me? No SS or LSS here, just the regular Texan CF. Thanks in Advance guys! I'm going to try to have the parts all waiting for me when I (eventually) make it home.

There is a lot of cheap adapters on eBay or Amazon 11mm to 20 mm adapters. $8 to$12 ... On my 50 Texan only the Airforce adapter to pictany my will work. The Airforce adapter s hold much more securely than the others. The cheap ones are good to put on the rails for your IR lights and accessories. Hope this helps

For some reason the airforce adapters are only ever listed as being for talon and condor. No idea why. But there is a table that says how many adapters will fit on the rail and the texan isn't on it. Any idea how many airforce adapters will fit the bottom? Or even the top, for that matter?

I bought something very similar to this on Amazon. It fits onto the Dovetail rail and your Picatinny fits right over it. Haven't had a single issue with them yet on my .457 Texan

Those adapter s are what I wanted to use on my Texan 50 with cold shot adjustable base. I tried them and they slid from recoil on 50. eagle vision makes that same adapter better built too. Those cheap adapter s are good for accessories and cheap. With my 50 only the Airforce Adapter s hold up with recoil. Regular dovetail or 11mm rings mounted to rail with scope would not hold either. Lower power Texans are probably more forgiving. The 50 isn't it eats up cheap scope rings and mounting accessories.

Ok this is what I'm looking for. I did find the eaglevision adapters, they look like exactly what I wanted but I wasn't sure if they ship to US. Did you try them? Did they work? I also have the .510. My scope isn't much of an issue but I desperately want to mount a sling, and given the texan sling Mounts are unavailable currently my only solution is to mount picatinny. I'll use the texan adapter if I have to but I like the eaglevision much better for the low profile and grabber screws instead of the spring loaded cheap ones

If you have a 50 go with the Airforce BKL adapter... For sure 100 percent.... I wanted the lower mounting height but if it moves that sucks. I haven't tried the eagle vision but might not be worth experimenting with. The 50 s recoil is not the same as other caliber s. Take my word for it.

Oh I know its got quite a kick. Last time I took it to my range my best friend scoped himself lol. I did warn him about proper eye relief repeatedly! Well I suppose that about answers my questions except one... How many of those airforce adapter fit on the bottom rail?

The Airforce adapter s only need for mounting your optics. Like mine .j ust buy those cheap 11mm to 20 mm adapters for your rail. They are real cheap and different lengths s too. More adapters you add the more weight.... If you need anything PM me.. Gots lots of .510 powder coated slugs too..here to help

Amazon and ebay have 260mm long -- dovetail to picatinny conversión rail.. for like $16 I just purchased 2 for my next 2 airforce frames..
