That's really flying I chronoed one the other day 3600 psi fill 340 gr it was only 850 I don't know if it was tx2 valve or not though

As far as accuracy goes. I noticed that I can grip the handle as tight or loose I want but stay easy on the rest of the rifle hold and all shots are clover leaf I don't own a range finder but using a 300 foot tree fallers tape I estimate I shoot from 50 yards to around 1200 yards. My excellent eye sight and steady nerves plays a part. I think any one can duplicate results with any texan off the shelf.

It definitely looks like I am embellishing but I am writing the truth. It's just that i want to see its limits and fortunate to be gifted as a shooter.

If you are capable of lapping the valve of a engine block than you can polish a air gun bore. And it is noticeable.

Also I notice with a 166 grain slug or a 340 grain slug with open sights thee is no need for elevation adjustment out to 250 years.

Also another experiment was with factory spring. I fired a 166 grain slug a 340 and a 400 grain slug into the side of a rust free 10 inch culvert at 20 yards. The 340 slug went threw one side and left a good size dent with sings of cracking on the other the 166 grain went threw one side and tore threw the other and the 400 grain went threw both sides with no sing of stopping and penetrated solid earth.

Yeah it just depends on how hard the slugs are open sights at 250 yards your telling me u need no adjustments or hold over that would depend on where you are originally sighted in for you maybe with in moa of a deer or something with 8 in or larger kill zone otherwise you will need hold over

I am just sharing what I get.try it out. I am in foot hills at 2500 ft. And used a damp bag of lime in my field. I have 100 year old pear orchards and my drive way is a quarter mile to my home. My range of shooting goes from beginning of driveway to back of property 15 acres long. I shoot the farthest range all the time.

I have my open sights set at 150. But I know my land and know the clicks on the scope and the adjustment on the open sights. For any point on land. Out here there is turkey coyotes deer bear and mountain lions that grab up sleeping ridge backs trained to keep bears out of the home. Ha ha lol. I love it and so even with air guns it's extreme in my territory.

Also the texan makes good iron skillet turkey and Jack rabbit stew. Head shots won't waste feathers or meat. Doesn't matter what size slug as long as you take the head shot

Sure there are. They run you about 70 $ and look plastic but are alloy or steel of some kind. Mine work great. I keep them on and have points marked with engine marker and them my scope. If scope breaks I have sights if both break then just have to wing it. How ever this air gun scope is a tuff one to Crack

I have the bore groves reflecting just as a mirror. And I noticed a good difference in the texan after ever so carefully polishing

Been looking at that aspen seneca and figuring how to upgrade volume to fit 357 or 45 bore. I like that I can get similar power with this texan as a xp and such. My next one just might be a .58 xp though. I flipped a quarter between xp and texan.
