Hey check out Mr. Hollowpoints Website, he is another source for some good hunting rounds that he has tested in his own Texan, Bob is a good guy and will give you some good info he answers emails.
So Far what I have found out is that the OD of the barrel is .64 I have only found this answer from one site so it is unconfirmed but that is kind of a off size 5/8 thread is .62 so we are looking at 2/10 over,
No matter what Eric I wouldn't attempt to thread your own barrel unless you REALLY know what your doing.
I don't and to be honest I don't know what it would take to thread a barrel down to a 5/8 The Range that I have found on most Tap/Die sets are .585 to .594 for a 5/8 thread cut. That would mean you would need to have the barrel turned down to .594 then threaded,
I am guessing here but a buddy of mine had his barrel turned and it cost him $150.00
Hope this helps some
Airforce told me 18mm which is 0.709 inch. I am not sure what to go with now"Willie14228"

According to my barrel I'd go with AirForce. And it is the same diameter all the way down the exposed barrel."BayStYat"
