Airforce Texan .45 molde

Hi, will this mold fit a .45 Texan? Thanks.

Have you slugged your barrel? Need to do that to determine a starting point of what mold size might work best.
Don't have a Texan, but with my Challenger Elite .457 the barrel Lands are .457 and Grooves .461. Mine shoots at .458 or .459 better depending on the type of slugs, more riffling engagement and less blow by. So I use a .460 molds then size them down. Sizing down provides diameter consistency.
Casting is a another rabbit hole to start down. And has a learning curve.
But the Lee molds are inexpensive so worst case you try it, doesn't shoot well, and you're only out $40.

BB Pelletier (Tom Gaylord) has blogged frequently about different Texan models. As I read them he says 0.458 and even 0.459 shoot better from the Texan than 0.457. Here are the series, the last part for each as you can see the earlier parts linked in each last part:

My Texan 457 loves the bullets I cast from a NOE mold 460-315-RF-AV3 sized to 458 it has pins for a flat point, deep HP and cup type HP. With the ratio of 2#s pure and 1# wheel weight the large hp drops at 280 to 286 and the cup at 315 to320 grains. Here's a 280+ from the 8 point I got last year
