🛠️ Texan .308 Refresh – Function Meets Form Wanted to share the final touches on my Texan .308 build. The Trajectron 3625 psi valve is now installed, so no more flirting with the limits of the stock setup. Scope protection? Sorted—ScopeShield came through with a custom-fit cover for the Zulus HD 5-20x rangefinder after I sent the dimensions. Can’t say enough about their service.

Added a wrap to a section of the tank, placed adhesive rubber squares for a cheek rest, and finished it off with a custom camo blend using Rust-Oleum light brown, black, and a touch of matte. Comfortable, clean, and mission-ready. With all I have done before, (MODS ) I can say it's completed, 150gr fps 990, the limit for a 1;14 twist.

How is the new Trajectron Valve working..? They will be apparently discontinued pretty soon, or as soon they will finish what is on stock the are now only $150 at that price im buying one just in case . Every time the had a sale on a Airforce item, one's is finish it doesn't come back to their sell list again they have reduced their AF performance parts catalog for some time now .

It looks great, got to try one of those stocks 👍

This is what i found about the company "Trajectron " not making parts,
As of now, there’s no public indication that Trajectory is planning to stop production of their Texan valves. In fact, companies like Trajectory and Africa Air Ordnance seem to be leaning into innovation—offering high-flow valves like the MOAV XL and pushing performance boundaries with .257 and .457 builds.

With in the next 5 days with any luck i will have chronograph numbers and pressures to achieve those numbers. I have in the past a Trajectron valve for the 257 Texan. Just remember the power i am gaining isn't just about the valve they are selling

Just keep in mind:
As for performance: 150gr at 990 fps—right where it should be for a 1:14 twist. But I’ll add this for clarity and safety:

The valve’s solid, no doubt, but those numbers didn’t come from just a drop-in swap. This setup is the result of multiple tuned components working together—mods I won’t outline in detail here out of respect for safety and platform variance. If someone’s chasing similar speed, know it took careful testing and more than one adjustment to hit that safely and consistently.
Calling this build done. Appreciate the feedback and always happy to talk theory or safe tuning approaches.

Thank you, sir. Haven't seen ya on? Hope life is good!
Oh, I have been around here and there.
Just a quick note, if you’re having any tuning
challenges with your rifle or simply wanna get your extreme spread down into the single digits, here’s a link to my post on how to tune the Texan, I hope you find it informative.

I have received word from Trajectron stating they are likely to continue manufacturing Airforce as well as other spares as there are requirements from our customers.

Thank you for research. If anyone knows how to get the best out of a Texan, your one of the few.
