Those last two are a little too gamey for my taste...What are you hunting that takes this much energy to kill? Bison? Wolly Mammoths? Tanks? Trains?

@maxtrouble Elk, moose, bear, or mule deer are good options to consider where permitted. Bison is not out of the question for those interested in hunting them. I saw a video of a man taking an bison with a big-bore airgun. I forget which model he used. I don't want to name the wrong rifle. South of 1200 FPE isn't a whole lot compared to traditional hunting rifle/cartridge combos. I think it's close to the average energy produced by a rifle/cartridge for PB deer hunting. It is however, enough to get the job done on most game animals in the USA IMO. And a .50 cal hole placed in the right area will expedite the blood letting. What are you hunting that takes this much energy to kill? Bison? Wolly Mammoths? Tanks? Trains?
