Testing the H&N slugs with my Impact

Not sure if this is where I should post my video on slug testings and choosing the right slug size for my Impact MK2 .22 calibre.

I tested my slug liner with the H&N slug 21gr in size .217 & .218 at 30 yards. It is amazing to see how the groups tighten up with the right size ammo for my barrel liner.

I will need to tune and shoot further out with the .218 size H&N Slugs. So far I found the weight of these slugs are very consistent. NSA slugs will be on my list to test at a later date.

What were the group sizes? Just looking at the video they seem worse than pellets. Have you also tried NSA’s?

@corvid. yes he is very easy to deal with and he goes beyond and above with his customer service.

@Daniel. The smallest group is 3/8" at 30 yards. I have just started with the slugs testing and found out the 218 was the preferred size for my Impact. I will focus on the H&N for now to tune and see if I can find the "harmonic setting" moving forward. I will stretch out the ranges in the next video. I only had the NSA samplers so not enough ammo to test and conclude. I am sure one or a couple of the NSA will work. Thanks for watching.

Great slug at a great price . Shoot both 217 and 218 , I would say 217 are a bit tighter at 100 yards , but both have very tight groups
