Due to the colder weather, my previously tuned 25gr Gen2 slugs were shooting 15-20 fps slower. My accuracy was affected so I decided to test the lighter slugs in 21 and 23gr to see if I could get better accuracy. However, I found out the 25gr still gave me the tighter groups at 50 yards.
I am sure if I adjust the REG and HS, I could get the lighter speed slug to shoot better. But I didn't want to mess around and screw up my present tune. I did, however, improve the accuracy of the 25gr slugs by opening up the valve by 1/8 of a turn.
My current speed of the 25gr slugs is 967 fps and the grouping is pretty good.
Enjoy.
