Diana Testing 18.3 in my diana 34...

Since being unable to purchase CPHP from my local WalMart, I decided to try some Apolo brand pellets ordered through Field Supply ( https://www.fieldsupply.com ). So far both the 14.6gr Domed HP and the 16gr Domed pellets have shown real promise in my lower powered rifles. Field Supply has even worked to get the pellet tins to me without damage. My orders have been heavily wrapped in the smaller bubble wrap and packing tape.

Guys sense I ran out of crosman hp and walmart seems to not have them I figure i would try the jsb 18.3 in the 34 . So far results surprised me with it shooting at roughly 610 fps and being very accurate plus I have 7 tins just sitting .
The lighter 15.4 have been an improvement over cphp in 22 for my guns that can still shoot pellets.

Most of the time, Exacts shoot WAY slower in German springers than comparable pellets. I'm talking 50 - 70 fps or so, even with the weight factored in.

I find my D34 starts to act up if I try to go with heavy pellets. It does put a strain on the power plant, shortening mainspring life, but if you are accurate and happy with the heavies, go for it.
